The eastern courtyard of Tryon Palace is preparing for a major TV film shoot. "Sleepy Hollow", debuting this fall, is a modern day twist on Washington Irving's classic short story. Ichabod Crane travels through time to the present day to unravel a mystery dating back to the founding fathers.
Construction of the set began this past weekend with shooting today and tomorrow. No interruption to scheduled tours is expected as filming will be done in the evening after the Palace's operating hours.
